Old Millhillians Football Club enjoyed a strong start in their return to 11-a-side football in 2021/22.
Playing in the Old Arthurian League, they recorded 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the league, and managed to beat the previous Junior League Cup holders.
For 2022/23 we are now playing in the Southern Amateur League, which promises a higher standard, and more fixtures throughout the season from September to April, which will suit the club as it grows in stature and popularity amongst Old Millhillians.
The club, run by Richard Whelan and George Ghaffari, currently boasts a strong squad of around 20 players, the vast majority of which attended the Mill Hill School Foundation. After holding talks with the Southern Amateur League, there is scope for the exciting possibility of further OMFC teams being able to join the league in the future, given how impressed they were with the setup and results of the team this season.
Although the squad list is full for the upcoming 11-a-side season, the team is currently training on Saturday mornings at Mill Hill Powerleague and welcomes any Old Millhillians to come down.
